Thirteen Year Olds Charged with Sexual Harassment For Misgendering Classmate
1984, the Children’s Edition
From the newest frontier of the woke attack on children, a thirteen year old boy has spoken out after being accused of sexual harassment for the crime of “misgendering” a nonbinary student. Braden Rabidoux of Kiel, Wisconsin failed to use “they/them” pronouns for a fellow student who allegedly berated him and others for using the wrong pronouns.
Rabidoux and two other unnamed boys were charged with sexual harassment under Title IX for using female pronouns for their “victim,” who identifies as nonbinary. This news heralds a fresh insult to women that will no doubt be celebrated by the rabid trans activists: misusing Title IX and the charge of sexual harassment not to protect women and girls but to punish those who commit heresy against the religion of genderism.
Much like the movement to push sex change operations on children under the false banner of trans health care, some adults are imposing serious legal consequences upon schoolyard interactions. Rather hypocritical from the movement that uses the slogan “protect trans kids” and claims to care about children’s well-being. It seems that for this faction the liberation of young people means forcing them to bear adult burdens.
The experiment to impose gender ideology upon our society is having disastrous effects: we are seeing the creation of a police state brought about by the trans movement. This movement has given the government a golden opportunity: to invade our private lives, criminalize our speech, and to inflict on our children the lash of censorship with real consequences.
Ever wondered why this government likes the trans movement so much? By adding gender identity into Title IX and other discrimination policies, you expand the state's ability to police our conversations to an insane extent. Title IX becomes a tool not to protect women but to increase government power and erode the barriers to legalize censorship.
Unfortunately for those of us who don’t adhere to the mass delusions currently gripping our country, millennials largely feel that it’s right to police speech that might offend certain groups. A 2015 study showed that 40% of millennials support censorship of statements deemed offensive to minorities. Seven years later this sentiment has clearly held firm, as woke activists continue their bloodthirsty crusade of punishing speech they don’t like. The effect of this trend on children will intensify as future generations are educated in a school system where anything they say that is deemed offensive to other children could be used to ruin their lives before they even reach eighteen. This atmosphere will breed a culture of compliance in which people walk on eggshells and stunt their own ability to communicate and think for themselves.
The idea that misgendering is a wrong that must be addressed by the community and arbitrated by the hand of the government is holding us all hostage. The story of Braden Rabidoux showcases this particular form of abuse perpetrated by gender ideologues. Pronouns have become a personal declaration of self which must be protected by the strong arm of the state. It is now considered discrimination to use the pronoun that is correct to the sex of the individual. Policing pronouns is an attempt to force the ideological dictate of genderism, which seeks to divorce us from our own true selves and sell back to us what we think we are supposed to be.
This dangerous ideology has penetrated every layer of society and it seems the government is hell bent on giving it free rein to enable its adherents’ worst impulses. We are seeing the invasion of women’s spaces, the humiliation of female athletes having to compete against men who claim to be women, and the destruction of young peoples’ bodies and psyches with “gender affirming care.”
This Orwellian nightmare we foist upon our young children is but the tip of the iceberg that is the transgender movement. From what we see today, Gen Z is to be the most LGBTQ identifying generation in history. If the past has taught us anything, it is that the next generation will be even more censorious than the last. School administrators who adopt and enforce gender ideology should take note that the public school system is currently seeing record admissions decline. One can only hope that enough of us witnessing this utter insanity will stand up before another generation is completely subsumed by the pastel fury of the trans cult.
